30. Submissions

Attendees are invited to submit a short position paper (max. 5 pages) or a full technical contribution (max. 15 pages) in PDF format. Submissions must conform to the Springer LNCS formatting guidelines.

Only full papers can be candidate for the best paper award (which will be included in the MoDELS 2010 Workshop Reader - TBC). All accepted papers (full and short) will be published in the Workshop Proceedings, which will be given to the participants in hardcopy form, and distributed electronically via CEUR and the ARTIST2 Website.

Papers must be submitted online using easychair through the link http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=acesmb10.

Those who have no easychair account are invited to first create one.

Georgia Tech School on CPS 2010

Cyber Physical Systems (CPS) are systems that rely on a tight integration of computation, communication, and controls, for their operation and interaction with the physical environment in which they are deployed. Such systems must be able to operate safely, dependably, securely, efficiently and in real-time, in potentially highly uncertain or unstructured environments. CPS are expected to have great technical, economic and societal impacts in the near future.

The Georgia Tech Summer School on Cyber-Physical Systems aims at bringing together researchers from industry and academia. The format of the Summer School will be a three-day meeting, organized around different aspects of Cyber Physical Systems. The topical areas to be covered are:

Networked Control Systems
Embedded Software
Scheduling
Platforms
Applications

Registration costs must be effectively paid by June 4th, to confirm your participation. An online form will be provided to accepted participants for online payments via credit card or bank transfer. NB: An exception can be made on religious grounds, for those who wish to observe Shabbat on Saturday 4th, or Eid ul-Fitr on Friday 10th. In this case, you will need to arrange your own transport to or from Autrans. There is no compensation in the registration cost. The school - both speakers and participants - will be video recorded. These videos will be distributed on the internet for dissemination / illustration / publicity purposes. Participants' lodging will be 2-3 persons / room. Speakers will be in individual rooms. Costs Participants will be charged 430€ for students, 650€ for non-students (VAT included). The remaining costs are covered by a grant paid for by the European Commission via the ArtistDesign Network of Excellence on Embedded Systems Design. The registration costs + grant cover: Lodging and meals from Saturday dinner to Friday lunch Chartered buses to/from Lyon St Exupéry on Saturday Sept 4th and Friday Sept 10th.
