The second ARTEMIS Technology Conference will take place in Bologna, Italy on September 12-13, 2011. This event is proposed by SOFIA – a project of the ARTEMIS JU 2008 Call – and it will be hosted by the University of Bologna.
Embedded systems know-how lies at the heart of the European industry’s competitiveness, and is a vital element in assuring future economic growth and stability to the benefit of European citizens at large. To address this need, the ambitious European program ARTEMIS has launched over 30 projects since 2008. Four of these ARTEMIS projects will present their intermediate results during the conference: SOFIA / SMARCOS / CHIRON / iLAND.
The aim of the event is to provide public visibility over technical aspects raised and solved by ARTEMIS partners in the field of Smart Environments. Exchange of ideas will increase R&D results’ effectiveness. This implies empowering the impact on industry and on society at large. In this sense, four ARTEMIS projects, SOFIA, SMARCOS, CHIRON, iLAND will present their intermediate results during the conference.
