The strategic objective of the ARTIST2 Network of Excellence is to strengthen European research in Embedded Systems Design, and promote the emergence of this new multi-disciplinary area.
DECOS Dependable Embedded Components and Systems is an integrative project that will develop the basic enabling technology to move from a federated distributed architecture to an integrated distributed architecture in order to reduce development, production and maintenance cost and increase the dependability of embedded applications in many application domains.
Cooperating Embedded Systems for Exploration and Control featuring Wireless Sensor Networks - Embedded WiSeNts is a Coordination Action (CA) funded by the European Commission under the Information Society Technology (IST) priority within the 6th Framework Programme (FP6). The project addresses the strategic objective of "Embedded Systems".
From knowledge creation to technology transfer, Minalogic is active along the entire innovation value chain. It is thus a sustainable competitiveness cluster with a bright future.
SYSTEM@TIC PARIS-REGION aims at developing the economy, the companies’competitiveness and the employment thanks to innovation, training and partnerships.
HiPEAC addresses the design and implementation of high-performance commodity computing devices in the 10+ year horizon, covering both the processor design, the optimising compiler infrastructure, and the evaluation of upcoming applications made possible by the increased computing power of future devices.
The objective of the NoE HYCON is establishing a durable community of leading researchers and practitioners who develop and apply the hybrid systems approach to the design of networked embedded control systems as found, e.g., in industrial production, transportation systems, generation and distribution of energy, communication systems. Hybrid systems provide a scientific paradigm to systematically address the analysis, modelling, simulation, synthesis, and optimisation of digital controllers for physical plants that communicate directly or via networks with other computerized systems and with human users and supervisors.
The main objective of the project is to develop the enabling technology and infrastructure required to effectively use the most advanced techniques developed for real-time flexible scheduling in embedded systems design methodologies and tools, providing the necessary elements to target reconfigurable processing modules and reconfigurable distributed architectures.
SPEEDS is a concerted effort to define the new generation of end-to-end methodologies, processes and supporting tools for safety-critical embedded system design. They will enable European systems industry to evolve from model-based design of hardware/software systems, towards integrated component based construction of complete virtual system models.
Support for Predictable Integration of mission Critical Embedded Systems ITEA project focusing on AADL (Architecture Analysis and Design Language) and CCM (Component/Container Model)
