The ArtistDesign European Network of Excellence organises and sponsors a large number of the main workshops on Embedded Systems Design in Europe, described on this page. Past workshops are listed here: 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005.
International Collaboration events are intended to gather together the very best world-leading experts from academia and industry, to discuss progress on the state of the art, relevant work directions.
ARTIST2 promotes and extends industrial standards in the area of embedded systems design, in tight collaboration with core or affiliated industrial partners.
We provide funding to the partners, for activities related to standards, as listed below.
In the components cluster, we have an activity called “Development of UML for Real-time Embedded Systems”, which specifically addresses this point.
In June 2005, we have organised a high level event, on “Component-based Systems”, in collaboration with the NSF and selected industrialists from Europe and the USA (see sections 2.2 and 2.3 of this deliverable).
Our activities cover a large number of standards as described below. Many of these activities were already started in a dispersed manner, before the start of the NoE. Through our actions, the NoE has federated the efforts per topic – by identifying key players and setting up meetings and events in which they can interact.
This section centralizes sources of course materials. Generally, a course is adapted for the specific context in which it is taught. Persons wishing to re-use these materials should contact the authors directly.
If you wish to add course materials to this section, please send the topics, web link, name of the initial course or school, city, and course dates to: Bruno Bouyssounouse.
