Social Programme

The ARTIST Summer School Europe 2010 is particularly pleased this year to present its participants with a varied social programme. All detailed information will be distributed to the participants upon arrival to the school on Saturday.
Sunday
Sept 5th		 BBQ evening dinner, a relaxed way to get to know your fellow students
Monday
Sept 6th		 Dinner in a typical farm nearby to discover the specialties of the Vercors region
Tuesday
Sept 7th		 Lectures are in the morning only!
The afternoon is free to interact with your fellow students, discover Grenoble or take advantage of sports activities in the beautiful mountain surroundings. (please register directly to the Escandille Reception Desk BEFORE MONDAY SEPT 6th at 14h00 – Not covered by the school):
You may choose among:
- Mountain Bike rental : 11.00€/Half day
- Archery : 7€/hour/pers (min of 5 pers required)
- Mountain hiking : 110.00€/half day or 11€/pers (min 10 pers and max 20 pers)
- Possibility to try paragliding with a coach, bookings must be made directly with the supplier:

Price:
Discovery flight : 40€ (including transportation to the jumping site)
Advanced flight : 75€ (including transportation to the jumping site)
Wednesday

Thursday
Sept 9th		 Live Jazz evening at the Escandille Seminar Centre to end a wonderful week.


On Friday, Sept 10th, please note rooms must be vacated by 12 noon. A safe luggage area will be provided to store your luggage until the end of the course.
