The 9th International Workshop on Java Technologies for Real-time and Embedded Systems (JTRES 2011) took place during 26-29th September at King’s Manor, York, UK. Thirty delegates from eleven countries attended; both industry and academia were represented.
The goal of the JTRES series of workshops is to provide a forum into which researchers and practitioners can come together to discuss how to advance Java technology for use in these real-time and embedded systems. This year’s workshop attracted 22 papers of which 15 were accepted for presentation at the workshop. Alan Burns, Kim Larsen and Andrew Winkler all gave excellent keynote speeches. Foils for all the presentations can be found elsewhere on this web site. The full proceedings are published in the
ACM Digital Library.
