ARTIST Summer School in Europe 2009

Dates

• Final deadline for applications is May 15th 2009.
• Notification of acceptance / rejection will be sent via email by May 21st.
• Registration costs must be effectively paid by June 5th, to confirm your participation. An online form will be provided to accepted participants for online payments via credit card or bank transfer.
   
  

  Conditions

  In applying for the school, each participant agrees to the following:
  
• To attend all 5 days of the school.
• The school - both speakers and participants - will be video recorded. These videos will be distributed on the internet for dissemination / illustration / publicity purposes.
• Participants’ lodging will be 2-3 persons / room. Speakers will be in individual rooms.
   
  

  Costs

• Participants will be charged 180€ for students, 360€ for non-students (VAT included). The remaining costs are covered by a grant paid for by the European Commission via the ArtistDesign Network of Excellence on Embedded Systems Design.
• Once you have been accepted to participate, the registration costs must be paid by May 30th at the latest, to confirm your registration.
• The registration costs + grant cover:
   Lodging and meals from Sunday dinner to Friday lunch
   Chartered buses to/from Lyon St Exupéry on Sunday Sept 6th and Friday Sept 11th.
   Courses
  NB: Any other costs such as air/train fare to/from Lyon St Exupéry airport or Grenoble city centre, taxis, meals/services not organized by the school must be covered independently by the participants.
