First S.Ha.R.K. Workshop on the Shark RT-Kernel

The aim of this workshop is to give a short introduction to the Shark real-time operating system. The workshop is organised by the ARTIST2 Network of Excellence and receives additional sponsorship from the FIRST project. It is organized by the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna and by the Robotic Laboratory of the Università di Pavia.

The workshop will be held at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna from Monday February 28, 2005 to Friday March, 4 2005. Participation is open to everybody. However, we will allow only a limited number of participants, for logistic reasons. Therefore, the people belonging to institutions that participate in the ARTIST2 Network of Excellence will have priority.

The workshop is free of charge. Participants will have to pay for travelling, accomodation, and subsistence. They will be provided with didactic material (slides, manual, CD-ROM with the software). Also, we will provide a room with computers for programming exercises and experiments.
