Weather

The summer season in Champaign-Urbana is usually pleasant, but can be very hot and humid with many thunderstorms. For more information, see here.

Accommodation

Participants are responsible for arranging their own accommodation. Hotel rooms have been reserved at a special rate at the Hampton Inn, just one block from the workshop venue. These rooms will be available at a rate of $89.00 per night plus tax for the dates, May 30 - June 1, 2007.

The rooms will be available at the special rate only until May 20th, 2007.
After that date the rate will be $110.00 per night plus tax.

Position Statements

In the original invitation all participants were asked to write a one-page position statement on the topics to be covered at the workshop.
