The DaNES project (Danish Network for Intelligent Embedded Systems) is a large, joint effort between 6 private companies and 3 academic partners (CISS/Aalborg University, IMM/Technical University of Denmark, MCI/University of Southern Denmark) partly funded by the Danish Advanced Technology Foundation. The objective is to establish, develop and test a model-driven and component-based development process for the implementation of the intelligent embedded systems of the future. An important outcome of DaNES will be the emergence of new products from the participating companies in the areas they represent, e.g. intelligent climate control in stables, advanced insulin treatment, safety-critical software for space applications and HW/SW platforms for specific domains. The deadline for applicants is September 15, 2007. After this date, interested candidates are still welcome to submit their interest (including a CV) to one of the contact persons mentioned in the full description.
